10 beauty myths de bunked

Remember when your grandma used to say not to drink milk with fish or your skin will grow white spots. Well there are many such old wives tales that modern technology and research has proven wrong. Yet many of them sill survive today we are going to eliminate the surviving germs.

First myth that is widely popular is that blackheads and white heads are formed because of enlarged pores but in reality blackheads are caused by blocked out pores regardless they are enlarged or not.

Second myth is that pores open and close they are minimised with correct usage of products well o opposite is true pores do not   Get enlarged with steam steam helps remove trapped makeup and dirt in the pores. Little does pore minimising products do all this is a role play of genes.
Putting hair oil over night helps nourishing hair is another myth put oil an hour before hair wash the longer you put oil in your it will cause breakout on your skin and little does time duration does for your skin.

Water is heaven for skin well number four is partially true, water intake should include fresh juice, hydrating vegetables and fruits as only water does not have enough nutrients to nourish your skin, water only is not enough.
Myth five is eating oily food increases sebum in your skin. Oil has little to nothing to do with the sebum in your skin, stress and hormonal imbalance are the culprits well a healthy diet and workout helps control the issue but if its uncontrollable with otc products its better to see a derma to counter the issue.

The next one to come is using SPF based cosmetics eliminates the need of a sunblock.
All the commercialised products aren't strong
enough to counteract the issue its better to use a broad
spectrum sunblock under all the makeup.

Myth no 7 is for pregnant ladies it is said if you are carrying a girl your skin will be dull and if you are carrying a boy your skin will shine bright well it is all the hormones that mess with your skin and doesn't indicate carrying a boy or a girl.

Using excess makeup cases breakout while this is  super false it is the bacteria built up in your pallet and your brushed that causes you to breakout also not properly removing makeup does the deed and not makeup it self.

Oily skin does not need moisturisers opposite is true in fact the drier you skin is the more it will produce sebum to balance out the dryness with will lead to breakout.

Last one is powdered foundation are for oily skin well that is not true liquid foundation for Oily skin are excellent
