Genrally when shopping for an outfit women tend to look for tops in right size or cuts. T

Lapels for women with short necks
We all are well aware of sweetheart,v,scope shaped neckline. Women who have a short neck can elongate their neck by wearing a v neck line. Collars are in genral discorged amongst women with short neck but if you like you can wear a band collar with a wide v shaped slit opening. Image on top is an example.
Lapels or shirt collars without closures are good options. other choicees are u shaped neckilne and halter tops.
Turtle neck

Women with medium length neck can wear almost all kind of necklines.
Women with long neck should opt for collars like band collar, turtle necks, jewel necklines and wedding bands.  Below is an example of an elegant wedding band neckline.

Embelished or acessorized necklines are for women who have a lean frame.

hair affair : 2016 is inspired from our lazyday favorite casual knots.

Ours and our moms favorite knots, the ones we rely on when we are extremely tiered. Well hairstylist for once have taken inspiration from our lazy days and voila twisted knots were all over the runway of NYFW.  Nape of neck or the low bun has been all over the runway.

From the style gurus :for the bride, less flare is more.

a well donned outfit with flare.

Flared dresses is a staple for brides in their wedding it’s a classic tradition in east. When I say flare it basically means garara, lehanga, peshwas and our classic anarcally style. Though Flare is the blood and soul to wedding dress which cannot be ignored , one must remember to look classy. Classy basically mean not over doing the flare . There are brides who make an extremely unsuccessful effort to look slim by adding too much flare when their diet regime fail to shed some of their excess weight.

It’s a better idea to keep flare limited to either top or bottom like wearing a straight cut shirt with a Dhaka pyjama or sharara. Or if you are a big fan of anarkalis, panels and peshwas then go for shurridars or straight pant.
below image shows how complicated an outfit looks with excessive flare and how much weight it adds on . Not only does it make you uncomfortable it also adds on a few pounds.

too much flare to wear.

Hair Affair: Dip dyed hair the 2016 way.

Celebrities all around are dipping their hair in accents. Above is the latest image of top model Gigi Hadid daunting the trend in sober and stylish way. Yes my readers , 2016 is going to be about matching your hair with you purse.
Dos of this trend are :
·         Simple soft accents that do not resemble a  punk rockers  styles are in. that means pastels.
·         First you need to have a haircut in layers  and wisely dip dye just the ends.
·         Make sure the color you choose not only bring out your hair but your complexion and your eyes all should shine in this new look.

From Style Guru: Perfecting your Jacket game.

Jackets are a fashion staple. Be it classic leather jacket or casual denim jacket. Hemline is something that is often ignored but it is the most deciding factor of how your jacket will look on you. so following are a few guidelines for choosing the right  hem length.Above the waist, below the waist, hip length, knee length are a few varieties of hems available in jackets.
If you are the one who has a petite frame then the best length for you is above the waist line(on left) because anything longer than this will make you appear even shorter, also your jacket should be well clinched at the waist line for a better look. Aim for accentuating your height.  Simple details like a zipper or tussles are fine but avoid heavy hem line details like ruffles.
If you height lies on the scale of not so short yet not so tall most styles will work for you. If you appear to be a little obese the a double breasted style  with padded shoulders. is ideal for you . Ditch the fitted jacket styles it will only make you look heavier then you are.
If you are taller than most of your male friends then you must avoid adding height to your look for that you need to skip all the above waistline, below waistline, bolero style, empire waist line. The best length is above the knee or if you are very tall below knee is the best(image below ). If you are thin as stick choose for styles that have small button or zip details. Avoid the hems with fur endings. Padding are a simple no for slims
also remember to buy simple timeless pieces..

On the trend radar: From NYFW s/s 2016 the “ X“ trend.

reference taken from :http://becauseimaddicted.net/

The NYFW s/s 2016 has already passed with many of new trends. Amongst those the one that I personally be akin to is the X  trend. One of major advantage of this trend is that it can be incorporated in out desi kurtis and looks. FTW x trend is basically a big x on the upper half  of outfit. Some has created it with belts, some are wearing suspenders while others have used feminine fabric. Many have gone bold and crossed 2 bags on either side.
To incorporate it into your desi kurti or a formal outfit you can use a piece of lace or fabric whatever you like. Make sure its as per the body type you have here are a few guidelines to go:
Apple: you need to create a very big x which will start from your shoulders and end at you thighs or even lower.  Fitted outfit with an x will be a big disappointment your outfit should have a lot of extra fabric for a guide if you are on medium size then keep your measurements an inch extra then your usual size for this trend.
Pear: a short x that ends at your waist is ideal again the same rule an inch of extra fabric than your regular measurements.
Hour glass: waist length or above no need for extra fabric.

On the trend radar: charmed by denim.

People in the fashion state are loving the “denim” too much . Its an all over trend for past three years. That means denim denim and more denim, if you cannot decipher it means all you wear is denim no fabric mixing. But like any other trend  fashion police has given us the set of rules that must be followed. So here are a few guidelines:
As per the gurus’ classic law dark denim are well known for their sliming effect whilst lighter shades are known for their accentuating magic. So it’s up to you if you want to wear white denim paired with a chambray shirt or a dark blue wash for jeans with a light blue top. Most women go for the lateral but its more dependent on how your body shape. Pear shaped women should go for light top and apple shaped should go for a dark top.
When it comes to denim all in all it does not mean the typical western cowboy look neither does it means you should look like denim just threw up on you. That means boots or denim shoes and certainly no hats of denim or any other kind.
You can stick to contrasting classic washes of blue or maybe you can also choose from the blacks white and all the different colors of denim that are available.
When there are does there are ought to be some donts like don’t where certainly not a matching denim outfit with your partner and don’t wear denim cocktail dresses or sun dresses they just make you ook confused as if you had no idea it was a formal event.
To sign off one last statement denim may qualify as semi formal but will never ever be qualified as a formal or corporate wear it’s a casual thing so just keep  to that.
above photo of Olivia Palmero is an ideal example of  perfect denim on denim.

Beauty Wedge : The ultimate acne killer Salicylic Acid.

Salicylic acid is considered to be on the WHO's model list for essential medicines. FTW salicylic acid is a sort of medicine that is added in your daily regime products like facewashes, toners and lotions. you can also find it in many of acne treatments. In above picture you can see a few of the products that contain this acid.
As we all know that acne happens because of excessive sebum. sebum is a byproduct of skin which is actually meant to do good for your skin but too much of it can cause havoc resulting in skin problems like black head white heads and acne. This excessive oil sets in your pores giving bacterial a good feed to live hence the zits.
a regular face wash might not be able to unclog pores from depth, but salicylic acid aids your regular face wash to deep clean the  pores and thus cleaning the bacterial built-up. Salicylic acid should not be mistaken as an antibiotic it does not kill bacteria it simply washes away its feed. So any salicylic acid product you add to your regime is to be used regularly . it may not clear up acne but it prevents further breakout. Most brands have 2% salicylic acid which is a safe zone for beginners.
You might not need a prescription as they are considered OTC. If you are allergic to this acid or if it’s not working for you then you may consult a doctor.
There are a bit of drawbacks if salicylic acid is excessively used or used without a need for it. it may dry your skin or may cause rashes.
Salicylic lotions are prescribed for treatments of warts and callus.  A wart takes up to 12 weeks with salicylic acid applied to affected area 2 times a day. Where callus takes 2 weeks to get better.
psoriasis (a condition causing skin cells to build up on skin dry skin patches and scales) can also be treated with this magic potion.
To conclude, salicylic acid is a something all acne sufferers should give a try to with is benefits outnumbering the cons. my personal experience have been very good, my acne has faded with time. With the help of Neutrogena oil free acne wash. i don’t use any other topical treatment just this face wash .
